Dual acting Axle Seals offered @???
Hi all,
Done a bit of mudding in my time & have always had to flush out my Diff Case Housing & tubes repeatedly afterwards which proved costly and time consuming to say the least. Vowing to replace my axel seals w/ double acting ones eventually it has now become a more urgent need but can't remember for the life of me where I was told I could find them for my Dana 44 front and 9-1/4 rear. Can anyone point me in the right direction???? Thanks for reading and offering any suggestions or help is always appreciated!

Water/dirt get in the axle from submerging it under water. It gets in through the vent not the axle seals. The outer seals for the front help keep the crap from building up in the axle tube. You may want to install these...

D44 outer seal choices:

None for the 9.25", especially since it's a semi-float axle and no aftermarket gives a crap about it.
Has anyone here used these axle tube end seals on their Ram 1500 Dana 44 front axles? My passenger side is leaking, and while they have it apart to replace the inner seal (yes; I know it's just a dustcap on the end) I'd like to put something like these on the ends.

I've got these on the ends of the Dana 30 on my TJ and ZJ, but don't know if they'd fit on my half-ton's Dana 44.

Think I would call the manufacturer of the seals you have pictured there, and ask them if they make them for D44 axles. Looks like a REALLY good idea to me. I think the current design for the seals is just farking stupid.
