Default Steering box ?

My 96 R1500 needs a new steering box but who sells the best reman without spending alot of money ?

Best and "not a lot of money" are mutually exclusive terms. RedHead, or Borgeson are the best.

Took me less than two minutes to come up with a host of threads dealing with this particular topic. The answers are universal. The 'stock replacement' boxes you get at the parts store are REALLY hit and miss. Borgeson, or Redhead have an occasional issue, but, 99% of the time will take care of it immediately.

Taking a fucntioning cat off has no performence gains on a stock street vehicle.
