no bus pcm is good help

Default no bus pcm is good help

I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9 pcm is good (tried on another vehicle) but keep getting no bus no gauges will turn over grounds are good is there anything I should do or check or any procedures thanks

I would suspect a failed central timer module then. That's how everything on the truck communicates.

Get the service manual for your truck here. There is a component locator in section 8W. that'll tell ya where it is, and may even have some test procedures.

I'm confused. Are you trying to install a used PCM onto a 1999 Dodge Ram 5.9 gas motor 4x4 truck or swap the PCM from a 1999 Dodge Ram 5.9 gas motor 4x4 truck onto another vehicle? Please explain further with additional details, as there are a lot of PCM differences for the gen 2 trucks.

Pcm is good it is on the truck just tried on another to make sure update runs when you have a scan tool hooked up to it dies when unplugged and ideas

Check power feeds and grounds for the PCM.
