Default 4x4 shifter Issues

Alright, I got my truck running perfect again and I thought by fixing the vacuum line issues I had , that the 4x4 would work fine. It drives fine and pulls fine when in 4x4, but my issue is when I go from 2H to 4H , it seems to be hard to find that 4H while the shifter is a lil on the harder side to move to any of the 4H, N or 4L; also if you pull to far without moving the stick to the left, it just goes to Neutral. It only seems to be from 2H to 4H, cause 4L engages and works normally. I dont know much about whats inside of a transfer case that makes them engage, Any Ideas?

Make sure the linkages for the shifter aren't sloppy first.
