I am real curious WHY it wants to drop back into limp mode.... Maybe a bad sensor? Bad wire?

at idle in park should tranny fluid be pouring out of the line at the tranny cooler? I pulled both lines and fluid was only dripping slowly (feed line from tranny) put it in neutral then it started coming out.
shouldn't it come out even in park?

I also have the tranny wine when in r and d.no sound different when tv cable is pulled.I adjusted the internal band and line pressure while I had the pan off.band was 72" lbs then 2 turns out and line pressure was 2 turns out past flush.also the po had a stage 2 jet chip that I pulled am not using. could that have messed something up.also I took truck out manually shifting it and I came back and cleared codes.code never came back but trans still starts off in 3rd

Make sure the battery has a good, full charge. Interesting things happen if it is failing.....

Fluid does not circulate thru the cooler in park, so, that's pretty normal.

Hope you mean 72 INCH pounds.......
