You need to get GOOD wires. 8mm or larger, not just the 'stock replacements' most auto parts stores sell. Then, you need to route them properly.

So, when you get cross-talk and/or mis-firing, will you usually get a code or just crappy fuel mileage?

It runs like crap. If it happens enough, it will set a code.... I am not sure just how bad it has to be running to do so... I know on mine, it has to get REALLY bad before the CEL starts blinking (indicating consistent misfire), or set a code.....

Isn't a flashing check engine light a warning for a catalyst damaging misfire?

So far as I know, all it means is that you have severe misfire RIGHT NOW! (and in o/d, it is VERY apparent.....)

That would make sense because it could be dumping to much fuel.

Well, it would be dumping the correct amount of fuel..... It just wouldn't be burning it... I suppose that would tend to get the cat a little hot under the collar.

Ok so I got my wires done properly, the p0307 is gone. Do you have any other things that can help? I'm wondering about a vacuum leak. I redid the intake gasket because I found a leak there. Now just misfires after it is warmed up, at lest it seems that way. I have fouled plugs I'm going to change tomorrow as well.

Eh about 3 months old did them with the tuneup when all this started. Coil, cap and rotor, wires, crank sensor, pickup coil, tps, iac, map sensor, injectors all 8, thermostat when intake was off. I've done all this.
