TV cable properly adjusted?

Getting good contact on all the pins on the trans connector?

Connectors at PCM clean and tight?

Shift linkage properly adjusted?

That's really kinda strange behavior without kicking out a code.... Did you reset the PCM after changing parts??

drove it around the block this morning and put it in drive and started in first but skipped 2nd.no od.stopped several times and started off in 1st every time.put it in reverse to turn around and started in 3rd again.I broke the plastic on the tv cable so it wasn't connected and got a p1757.I clear the code and dont come back untill I let it sit over night.could this be due the valve body or pressure sensor.

Unplug the 8 pin connector on the drivers side of the trans, 'bout halfway back. Go for a ride. Keep in mind your trans will have ZERO automatic function. (no o/d or tcc either) If the trans shifts into the gear you tell it to, when you tell it to, replace governor pressure sensor/solenoid. (both)

If it doesn't, time for rebuild.

Replace them BOTH while you are in there. Otherwise, you may find that you had more than one problem, and have to go back in. Get the heavy duty borg warner governor solenoid. You can find sets on EBay for 100 bucks or so.

I already replaced the solenoid with a borg and a used sensor
