What engine?

I can average around 12-14 in town on my truck. 16 or so on the freeway, around 10-12 towing a 5K dump trailer.

His post concerned V-10. I have a V-10.
Also, I put new plugs in and new O2 sensors . Synth oil. No change on mpg. I do have 4.10 diff which is the main reason I guess.

Ah. Yeah, the 8 liter is pretty thirsty.

I've had mine almost 6 years now and it's been a very solid truck for me. If you get one with the death flash and 3.55's, it's going to be a disappointment. The sct tuner and gears make a big difference in mine. With 35's I'm getting 9-10 mpg overall and around 14 on the highway.

Overall it's been a solid engine and I'm planning to keep it for a long time.

The 3500 I was looking at was sold. Did come across a 02 2500 with the V10 low mileage truck. Disappointed it's not near me to look at. I am in Michigan and the vehicle is in West Virginia.

Sometimes you can find someone local to look at it for you. I'm in NH and bought mine out of Iowa. A couple guys in an online car group looked at it for me and I flew out and drove it home.
