Default Transmission jumping out of gear

1997 Dodge ram 2500 46RE is what I have and when I bought the truck it had very little stuff to it in Drive. Wouldn't spin tires on gravel. People told me it could be in " Limp Mode " so I checked codes and did have one for governer pressure soleniod so I bought a kit with sensor, soleniod, filter, acc. spring etc. and replaced. Now this truck has play in shifter to where it's hard to find gears but now after repairs it feels to have more stuff but jumps out of drive and reverse. Where do I need to look first?

Check the linkage. There are plastic bushings that wear/break over time.

As in more than one? I looked up on Rock Auto and they list one plastic bushing for shift linkage bushing?

Look at your linkage, take it from there.

Is it properly adjusted?

When it jumps out of gear, can you wiggle the shifter, and have it start moving again?

not sure trying to find info. on that along with band adjusting. I did see somewhere that the band adjustment is a certain spec. unless you use a certain adapter then it's of lesser torque. WHat is this adapter they are talking about

No Idea. Look thru montec's trans corner thread, he has recommendations for band adjustment in there, that are a bit different from the service manual.
