You can run 1.6 or 1.7 rockers with a cam, I've run both....just pick a grind that will work.
I failed to mention I have a compcam 20-744-9.

Thanks for the info. It looks like Id have some reading to do before i pull the trigger on some of these.

Youre supposed to be able to smash the baffle in with a 2x4.

When I did my rebuild, I used the following pusrods. Are they good, or would I need to upgrade again?

Melling Pushrods
MEL-MPR-462
These Melling OEM replacement pushrods are perfect for stock rebuild or mild performance applications where open spring pressures do not exceed 300 lbs. They are manufactured from steel tubing and work well with stock or aftermarket rocker arms.

Mopar Performance Valve Springs
DCC-5249464
Valve Spring, Single, 1.418 in. Outside Diameter, 1.640 in. Installed Height,

Mopar Performance Valve Spring Retainers
DCC-4452032
That's because 1.6 is the stock ratio lol

Your custom cam already has a lift profile, are you wanting to add more lift even with a custom cam? Best to stick with 1.6 stockers with an aftermarket cam unless you feel your grind is not aggressive enough. Moving to 1.6 roller rockers will eliminate some valve train friction but probly won't notice anything.

Your pushrods are not compatible with guideplates, you need hardened pushrods. The ones you have will quickly wear down from guideplate contact if you install stud mount rockers.

Actually, you can probably come up with 5hp/tq just changing to full roller rockers.....
