Default fuel injector plug swap!?

So right now I'm in the middle of the 318 to 360 swap. Everything has been going smooth until now, the 360 is out of 1999 and my truck is a 2001, and the fuel injector wire plugs are different, but that looks like the only electrical difference. Should I go to the junk yard and get me a whole wiring harness from a 99 or can I just get the 8 plugs I need and splice them in and keep my wiring harness?

Actually, they make adapters to change from the EV-1 (older) to EV-6 (newer) connectors. Check with your local parts stores, should be able to order them up, certainly should be able to find them online.

The adapters would be the easiest, plug and play.

Ah.

Summit has 'em. 13 bucks a pop though. Holy smokes. Think it might almost be cheaper to just replace the injectors......

You're welcome... I'm always more than happy to pass on a savings tip that I've picked up in my travels.
