There is already a magnet in the stock pan. It's a round one, right around the dimple into the pan, drivers back corner of the pan, which, incidentally, is the low point. Just get a great magnet, you don't want it busting loose in the pan and going places that it shouldn't.

That is correct about the add-on drains, they will leave about 1/4". Raise the front end to drain the most out.

I got some strong magnets from Harbor Freight. Just something extra I decided to do. There is already one there as stated.

Any magnet will do, so long as it is strong enough to hold itself in place over the bumpys.

I'd say your due for a band adjustment while the pan is off. There's a DIY or sticky, I think. Which gears are slipping?
