Default Transmission fluid? (Lucas)

I am having a little slipping once in a while , not to often but i am thinking about replacing the transmission fluid.
What will be okay from Autozone or Kragen to buy ? I was going to buy lucas oil and the tranny treatment that they have.

Whats your advice?

Truck : 1995 Ram 1500 /cab 2 wheel drive 5.2 (no 4x4) - 255k

I remember that there was a one time fluid replaced in the tranny about 8-9 years ago and we put regular tranny oil plus one of those lucas treatment.

Sec. question:

I remember ,as i have to go and look , is there a tranny pan that you can buy that has the drain plug? as i think the one right now is there to replace the fluid you must take the pan down...

Thanks for any advice.

May help. If you have mechanical issues inside, Lucas won't help.

I see, yes it happens no all the time rare.

Auto zone has :
Lucas Oil/Multi-vehicle automatic transmission fluid
not sure if that will be fine.

I guess dodge takes atf+4.

Yes, Dorman makes a stock pan with a drain plug. Those tend to leak at the drain plug though. When the bung is welded in, they don't leave much of a mating surface for the drain plug. If you buy one locally, pull off the drain plug and inspect it before you buy. If you order one from the inter webs, just get an aftermarket one, with more capacity (B&M).

You can also just buy a bung to weld in yourself or a B&M drill-and-nut DIY one.

If you have a good welder, one of the Steel, female, weld-on bungs would work pretty good. Just get a pipe plug to go into it.
