I had to drill one hole for a ground wire, and that was it. With new bulbs, housings, and the harness, my headlights are MUCH better than before. I really like it.
Boy talk about embarrassed!!! That's how I feel right about now!!!
I made that remark about questioning installation of the LMC 55-9505 HD harness BEFORE opening the package, I just read the few instructions on the package and looked at the harness under thr.hood to the lights.
ALL the wire are labeled where they go!!!! Boy do I feel stupid!!!!

Don't feel like the lone ranger. Been there. Done that.

Getting the plug onto the drivers side headlight, with the battery still in place, is fun......

Well I did order those headlamps mention earlier on Ebay. Once I get them in, will test out and decide if I want wire harness from LMC. Actually in a few days I will be over in Lenexa and could stop by LMC. Any place on here that shows how to aim headlights or should I just take it someplace?

Headlight aiming procedure is in the service manual. With help, its easy to set up. I have done this twice now, just putting the tape on my garage door, and aiming the headlights that way. Late evening is the best time, shortly before full dark.

I would just add to make sure your driveway is level too.

There's not a lot of level ground where I live, so what I do is to hang an old door (though a sheet of plywood would work) on a couple of stands and in addition to the customary pattern markings I shoot a line from the center of each rear hub past the center of the corresponding front hub and mark it on the door. That way when I move the target and truck apart I can reposition the target to be in the right place just by reshooting those lines.

It'd be a mite trickier to adjust a wall, I imagine...

I found the instructions, looks easy enough. Then I knew it would be a problem, but put level on driveway. The 4 foot level was off about a full bubble which is what I would expect from doing concrete work when I was much younger. So if a 4 foot level is off that much, 25 foot would be a problem.

Just put your marks for locating the beams at the same off-angle.
