Default Where or how to get this fixed? Rust on body mount



noticed this a while back and wondering if anyone knows where i could get it fixed

it's the front right body mount on my truck

Unfortunately, new body mounts are becoming quite difficult to find.....

i figured one would need to be manufactured for it i didnt know they'll sell them new

this will probably be pretty costly. the rest are fine with just about no rust but this one is just ****ed

I don't believe they do make them. I never seen then in any of the sheet metal suppliers. I would cut that one off and either fab one up or go searching in the junk yard for a good one. Use a spot weld drill and it should be fairly easy.

did you ever get this fixed? do you know how safe it is to drive one locally without getting fixed? i'm trying to find how many points the cabin is attached to the frame. if you know, is it just the four mounts or are there plenty of other spots like the floor pan where the body is attached to the frame? thank you!

You can buy then new from here. If you have the standard cab it's 4 mounts, quad/extended its 6 mounts

I feel safer running back and forth to home depot. I thought i was 4 minus 1 but i think im 6 minus 1. Ill need to look for the mid mounts on my club cab.

And find someone who welds.

club cab has 6 mounts.
