Exactly Correct Moparite
same as Ford FX type F only good now for some FORD power steering like Panthers (Crown Vic- Town Car)
THE ATF+4 is a better lube for the thrust washers in the OD but the big issue is tearing up converter clutches with non ATF4+ fluids
First they chatter then the lining comes off and plugs your cooler and lube then the OD goes really bad really fast
I was a Chrysler service manager back in the early 70's and still tight with a few
what I said above is GOSPEL.
Best thing to do is upgrade the 5/16 or 3/8 lines to diesel size 1/2 with big fittings
If trans is apart retap for larger and drill the case- tailshaft
the big tranny cooler with 1/2 in and out
especially with high stall converter or towing

Anyone have a source for 5 gallon pails for Dodge modern E transmissions?

I saw on Amazon a 5 gallon pail of Cam 2 synthetic for around $100, anyone ever ran this?

AS said above
If it's atf-4+ just buy the cheapest you can find it has to be synthetic with the proper additives
watch for weasel words like "replaces" or "compatible with"

Stock is 195, if your truck is basically stock, stick with the stock temp.

i use valvoline atf+4 only. If your in there do a band adjustment. Dont forget the throttle cable adjustment. Search my user for post and you will find it.

I changed my thermostat in my stock 360 to the cooler temp range and i used more fuel because the engine ran cooler, but tried to maintain efficiency.
