Default Does not beep when locked but did before

Hello everyone, I was hoping I could find some advice. I own a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 extended cab long bed 4x4 with the 24 valve Cummins. I noticed just this afternoon that the truck no longer beeps when locked with the key fob. The horn works from the steering wheel and the doors lock with no issue. I also understand that this is not a serious issue so please don't bother commenting if you're going to poke fun. thank you in advance.

Hhhmmm..... wonder if that was something that could be configured in some way..... My truck doesn't do that particular trick, at all.... so, I have no experience with it. Do you have an owners manual by chance?

Default Update: Fixed

Ok so you guys will get a kick out of this. So using the previous advice from "heyyou" I searched around in the manual for programming. It turns out I in programmed it with my knee without even knowing it. I'll tell you the procedure to put it back on for anyone interested. And again this is straight out of the Chrysler Dodge owners manual. 1. Turn your ignition switch to the ON position without starting it. 2. Allow all lights and dings to stop. 3. On your fob press and hold the UNLOCK button for 4 seconds. 4. While still holding the unlock button press the LOCK button. 5. Release both buttons and one audible ding from the dash will be heard. This means that your horn chirp is programmed. Very simple but obviously overlooked by yours truly. Hope this helps and thank you both for answering so quickly

Owners manuals are the most underrated/overlooked tool ever.
