If I get a mopar performance pcm. Do I just plug it in and I'm good to go? And I use premium gas anyways. I saw a guy who a older jeep. And he had a throttle body kit. New TB and intake. and a little box that plugged into it and added alot of kick to his motor

Okay what does the performance pcm offer . It's quite vague online. I know premium gas. But will it find the best fuel trims for power? Cause it seems if I reset my factory pcm it run great for a while ,when it's still learning all the new fuel trims. But it settles on a low power high gas milage setting after acouple hundred miles. I mean it's like once it finds what it wants for gas milage it seems to stay there. And will the mopar performance pcm adjust to the 180 stat?

Performance PCM will still want the 195 degree stat, but, I don't think it is as likely to whine about it as the newer PCMs.....

The computer learns how YOU drive. If you 'old-lady' it while the PCM is learning, that's what it learns. If you beat on it while driving it, THAT is what it learns. Of course, you could beat on it for a couple days, have it learn that, but, eventually, it would adapt to your driving style.

Performance PCM has more aggressive fuel/spark curves.

I can find them for the 318, but, not for the 360..... Could try calling summit, and see what they have to say.

Keep in mind, they REQUIRE premium fuel.... which runs about 50 cents more per gallon around here......

Yeah that's fine I run premium anyways I get better gas milage from it for some reason. I'll call them. Cause I've been looking online and I can't find one. Like u said all I found was for 318 and I'm pretty sure it won't work. I can't find any website that has one for a 360. the trannys matched to the 360 are different too. I know that have to make them. Ive read people on here with them. And they said it really woke their motor up. It made all the mods really come alive. That's what I'm hoping it will do for me. All the performance stuff i did I noticed a small difference but nothing mind blowing. Everyone says the pcm will bring it all together and this truck will be night and day difference. I found the part number from another forum but it doesn't say the website their useing.

The part number is 5249546. There's a whole list. I typed it in on summit and I think it might be the right one see what u think. It says not available thou

These guys ostensibly have them, but, it doesn't specify what engine they are for. The one I looked up for a Ram 2500, which NEVER came with a 318, talks about performance improvements on the 3.9...... What??? Might wanna call 'em.
