I messaged the guy and he said it was stock. But it looks just like the performance one with the fins on the front. And I called summit and acouple others and mopar discontinued the performance pcm for the 360ci motors. The guys on the phone said I gotta find someone who still has some on the shelf cause they quit making them. All the people on ebay say their stock pcms. But my stock one doesn't have the fins on the front. So idk if they don't know or what

e if you can find an old mopar performance catalog from the era when they actually made them. You need to go by the part #,This is key! Don't take someones word that it is a MP unit unless it has the correct part #. I have several of the catalogs but not sure what the dates are on them. These PCM's where only produced for a few years after they came out this is why they are hard to come by. They where made for a variety of vehicles over the years. I have one on my 1986 Daytona turbo Z and it took a while to find one(pre internet). Not sure if the part #'s are listed on the internet anywhere.

Scroll down - almost to the bottom. No matter your OBD-I engine, they have your performance ECU.

So my big question is what do you do about that tranny issue? I put a 2001 46re in my 96 that had the 46 re. My performance pcm automatically kick trans temp light and over drive off. So I slapped the pcm from the 01 on my 96 ran great but the gen light stayed on (tested many times and was charging 14 at battery, it gave up and I want my performance pcm what do I have to do to get it to work?

What year is your performance PCM compatible with?

I think the biggest problem is, the electronics in the trans changed in 00. The sensors use a different range of values. So, swap out the 01 sensors, for sensors for the 96, and the correct retainer, and the trans should work just fine. Need to change O/D and TCC solenoid as well, as the internal connector for them is different as well.
