Holy crap, 400 bucks for a damn bracket??? and a couple bolts? Seriously?

I do believe that there is a thread around here somewhere that someone made their own brackets, for a hell of a lot less then 400 bucks......

It's from DOR, they put out some great 2nd Gen stuff but they are pretty damn proud of it and charge like it. But yeah I've seen shackle flips for our trucks on ebay for under $100

From the factory, the spring eye is above the the shackle and bracket. With the shackle flip, the spring is below the shackle and bracket. This both lifts the truck, and, supposedly... makes for a better ride. Seems you can eliminate the blocks as well, which I see as a good thing...... and still end up with a net 1.5 inches or so of lift.

It puts the spring in tension instead of compression. So little bumps and stuff the spring isn't bound up and instantly comes up with all its might after a bump.

Third gens and up are all like this and they ride much better IMO.
