Unhappy Hello. Need help guys.

Hello. Im from Lithuania. I bought "new" DODGE RAM 1500 MAGNUM 5.2 V8 RWD truck. And got problem... Problem is that when i shift reverse it starts to choke and stall. Exactly at that time check engine light appears on dashboard. So,guys and maybe girls... Can i get answer or some kind of clue??? Wtf happens with my RAM? P.S. Sorry for grammar... Just as i said- Im from Lithuania... ^_^ Thanks a lot.

Does it do the same when you put it in drive? Any better when the engine is warm??

1,2,3 Gears looks like ok,but when it start to warm reverse cause that issue... Choke,check engine on dashboard,and at last hes off.

Read the codes, and see what it has to say for itself. I don't know if the key trick will work for you..... but, cycle the ignition on/off/on/off/on, and see if it will display codes on the odometer.

Its some kind of self diagnosis?

Supposedly, I don't remember if the 01's still do that though.

Ask around for a shop with OBD ll code reader,it;s easier than counting flash,and they might be able to make repairs.Just a thought...
