Default 4th gen bumper on second gen sport

I was wonder if anyone has put a 4th gen 2500 bumper on a 2nd gen 1500 sport please post pics if u have them

There is a member who did though not sure if it was a 1500 or 2500 bumper, is there a difference? Anyway, here's the thread.

Ya I saw that but they did it with a diffent package I have a sport and I belive the front end is didffent but not sure

Frame is the same, bumper and brackets are different. Maybe. Depends on what year your truck is.

Brackets, bumper, headlights, and grill are different from the non-sport truck. Frame is still the same.

It's the new lightbar and plastidip thing. Was cool for 6months now dumb. I quit caring.




OverkillFab.com sells the brackets to make it a direct swap.

What's a corn dog doin' underneath the ocean? That's easy. There was a second gen Ram with a fourth gen bumper on the ferry that just passed. The driver got mad when he got teased about blowing the thing because his overbite was so severe, so he threw it overboard.

While I agree most of the 4th gen bumper swaps look like crap, if it's done right on a lifted 2nd gen(4th gen bumper hangs way too low unless it's on lifted truck imo) they can look really good. This guy did it right-
