Yep it does, the teeth are cut similar so once it lines up, it drops right in. Originally i was going to swap just the input gears, but noticed the differences in planets. Im not sure if it makes a difference in the strength or not, but we'll see.

Considering the strengths of the two, if the 242 holds up to a 300hp cummins, then I have no doubts that it will hold against a 300hp magnum.

I am a big fan of overkill when it comes to strength of driveline parts.....

The more planetary gears, the higher the torque capacity.
However, higher torque rated TC's usually have the heavier input and output shafts... AND wider chains.

I wanted to swap everything that I could over, but the chain wouldnt fit because of the spacing on the sprockets.

Mind if I ask how? I haven't had a speedometer for years because of various issues, then swapping to a 98 2500 undercarriage.

This link below helped show me how to use the ABS sensor signal.

This is another way, but the concept is still the same.

So did you just buy This box and tie it into the tone ring, or did you add a sensor, or?? Just trying to understand how you did it.

Thank you. Great write up for the t-case. Maybe a mod can parse it down and add it to the DIY sticky.
