Default High beams stuck on aftermarket headlights

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had a headlight wiring diagram to make my lights work. I believe they are meant for the sport version with 4 bulbs and mine is a 98 which I believe only has 2. I've looked and looked and can't seem to find a thread with the pictures working

You can download a copy of the 99 service manual from the faq section here.

I looked at that but i couldn't really tell how to convert to the 4 bulb system to the two, which is what I would have, right? My truck is a 98 sport, which I thought only had two. And I found a thread with someone who had the exact same problem as me(high beams always on) but all the pictures weren't there anymore

Look at the four bulb system. I think you really only need to move one wire to make it work, but, that also depends on what bulbs your are using. 9007's, and 9004's are do believe need to be wired different.

You are correct spillage. Just checked, made May 98. The headlights look like they were made for the truck though, because there is one plug for each light. I'm assuming it was wired wrong from the factory. So any ideas on how to fix them? Should I just try to use the wiring diagram best I can?

Buy a pair of 9004 bulbs, they are what comes stock on the truck. Should solve your issues.
