Default No power on take off

New owner here just bought a 2001 ram 5.9 magnum last week runs great once you get going. I live over a very steep hill when pulling out from the hill i have to hold it to the floor and it barely goes. On flat ground it goes a little sluggish till about 5 to 10 miles an hour then it will throw you back and go. Ive changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, IAC,checked map, tbs, looked in tb some oil splatter from pcv changed that didnt see any pooling but couldnt see the corners. Thought maybe taking off in wrong gear but counted shifts 1 2 3 3L with od off so they are all there, punched cat. Im out of ideas help please.

Basically 33's, and 3.55 gears... that's part of the problem....

Does it seem any better if you pull the shifter all the way down to first, and try and go?

That's interesting..... Check the pcm for a sticker that says "authorized software update". It'll probably be hand written......
