Took my truck to dealership and re flashed pcm and it still won't start the vtss theft system won't let it get fuel any help?

 

Bypass it, (for fuel) see if the truck will run.

Not just a bad fuel pump is it?

 

New fuel pump will start on starting fluid just won't fire the injectors dealership says the vtss code comes up

Idk had the dodge dealership re flash my pcm and they hooked up their scanner and said that the vtss code or something said the reason it won't start is because the theft system won't let it so idk is there a way to by pass it idk I told the dealership to fix it

 

Did they give you an estimate??? There *should* be a way to bypass, but, I don't know what it is just off hand. (my truck doesn't have it.) If its just programming, and reading a chip in the key, or some such.... its gonna be tricky.

 

They said my truck didn't come with it either and when I bought the truck I didn't get the original key they said someone may have changed the steering column ? Idk they are digging into it deeper

 

Have you ever been able to start it??

So as long as you have owned it, it has never started and ran?

There are a fair few codes for the anti-theft system..... really need to find out which one it was. Of course, the dealer is handling it at the moment......
