V10 crank and cam trigger wheel details?
The CKP and CMP sensors for these engines seem to be almost impossible to get now. I'm checking into the possibilities of getting some housings custom machined out of aluminum stock and using the Allegro ATS617LSGTN-T gear tooth sensor but I need some more details on the dimensions of the trigger wheels (tone rings)
If anyone has a crankshaft and a cam sprocket that they can check, I'd like to know the outside diameters, the width of the face, the length and depth of the notches. Also the installed air gap between the sensor faces and the wheel itself would be good to have.
Thanks.

Rock auto still has the 'ultrapower' cam position sensor.
They don't even list the crank sensor......
A fair few parts for the OBDI 8 liter are becoming VERY hard to find........ Might consider just replacing the entire PCM/Wiring harness, and upgrading to OBDII..... Pain in the keester, but, at least parts are more readily available.....
Might check EBay as well.
Rock Auto also has O2 sensors.

crap that is not good. So as my low mileage truck gets older and the assorted sensors wear out -- I will be screwed.
Making the change to the OBDII will be very costly as I would not want to do it.
PCM is like $400 plus all the cables? and sensors... I dont think it would be worth it
But then if the truck dies due to one of these parts.. what to do?
I would look to the junk yards and try to get the parts. Has to be a few yards with v10s.
Might just order the rare sensors I can find now and stock pile them.
I only put about 4-5000 miles a year on my truck.
Sure cannot afford to get a 'newer ' one at this time.

Might be able to find a harness/pcm/sensors in the junk yard.... If you get really lucky. If you want to convert to OBDII, stick with 96 or 97 model year donors. 98 and up, too much other stuff changed, and the conversion gets a LOT more expensive.
If you can find 94-95 trucks in the yard with a V-10.... grab ALL the sensors you can get your hands on.
