Speedo fix after gears?

Absolutely. You will need to change the speedo pinion gear to one with the right tooth count for the size gear and overall wheel/tire diameter you are running. For an example calculator, see this page:

Just inspect the o-ring seal too. Put some o-ring lube on it, before you put it back in, so you don't tear it.
And...
In the above pic, you will notice a notch. That lines up for different gear sizes. IIRC, they are shown on the gear holder thingey. If you put it in wrong, for the rise gear you have, you will either have no output or your gear will bind. It really is a no-brainier but just thought I'd mention it.
