The module is the central timer module. It does a LOT of stuff..... Wires just go to the door switches. They *suggest* to the CTM that it should lock/unlock the doors.
I believe the "trigger" wires are for triggering the alarm if either door gets opened (sometimes labeled "sense"). You want to use the lock/unlock wires in the kick panel.
