A compromise cam, between fuel economy, and everything else..... Changing to 1.7 ratio roller rockers is a quick and easy power boost. Changing the cam will likely require changing a lot of other stuff too, and also want a custom tune to run right.

Well I'm changing the heads so I figured I would do the cam as well but I know that some vehicles come stock with a roller cam but I'm not sure if the 90s 318 magnum has a roller or hydraulic flat tappet cam

Hydraulic Roller.

Better budget in a tune for that as well though.

I am, and I found out that the 318 magnum has a hydraulic roller cam, so any ideas on where to get a good 264/272 with a 110 degree lobe?

I'd reach out to comp cams, tell them what you have (component wise) and give them an idea of your goal.
