Default Fuel rollover valve ?

Just bought a new precision fuel pump and was gonna put a new rollover valve in it because the nipple on the old one broke but parts house only has a dorman universal that doesn't fit this pump ? Is dodge dealer the only place to get one ?

Did you just buy the pump itself, or the whole fuel pump module? So far as I know, the new module should have one on it.

It's held in with just a rubber grommet. Can you swap your old one over?

We used to LOVE doing these. They paid 1.1 hours under warranty and took 10 minutes to do. I would buy the skinny hourly kid a cheeseburger to do it for me. You could raise it on a lift and go over the frame and do them.

No but I discovered a work-around for the 1st Generation Dodge Dakotas. May not be the same for the later Generations.
It's a Mopar Part # J5360058 http://moparpartsdept.com/oemparts/c..._J5360058.html
Grommet Mopar Part # 52018823 http://moparpartsdept.com/oemparts/d..._52018823.html
Aftermarket (cheap) is CARB/EPA Slosh/Roll Over Valve with Grommet Kit Item #: 13937 http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/ite...oaAqZrEALw_wcB

Of course you can cross-reference these parts and find them much cheaper on Amazon, EBay, or an Aftermarket parts site. Hope that helps. Gen 2's I'm not sure of sorry.
This research took the better part of half a day.
