Default Transmission shifting

I have a 2001 ram 1500 4x4 5.9. When I bought it it's shifted fine as of two days ago I've noticed it has been taking longer to shift from 2nd to 3rd when it's warmed up. Would anyone happen to know what the issue could be?

Is it slipping or just not shifting till a higher rpm? How many miles are on it?

When's the last time the fluid and filter were changed? (and the bands adjusted.....)

Could be as simple as a fluid change and band adjustment. Could be just some crap caught in the valve body and valves are sticking which a fluid change could clear out. Any chance you know the history of the truck if the transmission has been previously rebuilt or replaced?

Honestly I have no idea but I'll look into it I talked to a friend who has nothing but rams and he said something about valves or something near the filter

Do the fluid/filter/band adjustment. See if that doesn't solve the issue.
