Truck died. Won't start
The other weekend it dies then I got it started again then died again. While that it make some clunking noises. The fuel pump sounds like it turns on. I checked spark and only get it from ignition coil wire. I removed the distributor cap and rotor. It looks like the rotor is bent and the cap has some gouges by the inside terminals. The distributor does turn but won't turn. Would this be a bad distributor.

If you feel that the distributor is bad (and it likely is shot, if the rotor is tearing up things inside the cap), be sure to mark the location of the distributor at the base and also the location of the rotor, so that the new distributor can be installed in the EXACT same location and orientation as the old distributor. If you don't do this, the truck will not start-up and require the fuel sync to be reset.
