I think a heater core took it out before I bought the truck. It has the Heater Treater. I opened the case on the actuator and a electronic component fell off of the board. I think it is beyond my repair.

And you expect us to remember that?

Anyone that carries dorman products should be able to get one. Autozone lists 'em for 30 bucks.

Do you have a Dorman part number that fits an 01? I can't find one on Autozone (brings up several options, but when clicked on, says doesn't fit) or the Dorman website. Thanks!

Nope. When I search by year/model/etc, they say they don't have one, or, NLA..... Your number is correct, and they are available in various places, but, all of them are north of a 100 bucks. Cheapest I found was Ebay, for like 116, Amazon also has 'em for around 120.

Yes, it's actually quite easy.

-97 all original dashes and controls
-98 NEW dash SAME controls
-99 NEW controls

While the new interior arrived in 1998, it wasn't until 99 that the refresh was complete: the blend motor arrived, the airbag switch was moved up to allow a cubby or heated seat controls on Laramie, the 12 volt aux was moved below the cig tray, headlight switch upgraded to rotary, and the odometer to green LCD. All these features remained through 02 HDs. Test on Monday!
