Default Blend door actuator location?

On my 1998 Ram...It's not there, can't find anything on it being in a different location anywhere.

Did DODGE change mid year not tell anyone?

I can see a shaft and what looks like locations for factory holes to be located, but no holes..Nothing.

EDIT: I guess it's cable actuated.

Yep, cable operated. The little motor came along in 2000.

Yeah, that's been the case for a while. Of course, I am still looking for my power rack and pinion steering on my truck too.

I believe my '96 does, too, but I'll have to verify and reply back. Perhaps this has something to do with the options package that came on the truck???

96 does not, I believe the motor ones came along around 98. Not exactly sure when they made the change over.

Is there an aftermarket source for these? Mopar P/N 5104879AA, I believe. Mopar part is the only one I have been able to find. Thanks!

Did it stop working? Or is it just not moving the door? If the latter, check out heatertreater.net. It is possible to fix that, and re-index the motor.
