Default 97 dodge 1500 5.9. wont start

97 dodge ram 1500 4x4 360 .
can't get it to start. I've replaced the pick up coil the cap and rotar and the crank shaft positioning sensor and it gets spark to all the plugs. I thought maybe the fuel system had an issue but pulled the line off the fuel rail and turned the key and gas shot out. And even poured gas down the throttle body. Am I missing something or shouldn't this thing light off. Maybe anti theft is making it not start? Idk any suggestions would help out a ton

If you have spark, and fuel pressure, it *should* run.

Stomp the gas pedal to the floor, and hold it there, crank it for a bit, does it even try to start?

Any codes? Did you make sure you put the wires on correctly? It should run if you have gas and spark. Truck history? Did you just pick this up or was it running before?

Yes it was a free truck from my uncle he said he was driving it to the auction and it just stoped in the street. Yes I'm sure the plug wires are in the same place

Check fuel pressure with a gauge.

Need to dig deeper, It should do something. How much gas are you putting in? You can put to much in. Pull the plugs and see if that are covered in fuel. If so you poured in to much.
