ABS not working

well as I was driving her today, I did notice that the front brakes are grabbing pretty good also, could that be a master cylinder going bad ? and I disconnected the battery to reset the trouble ABS light on the dash and it went out....til I hit the brakes good again then it was back on, I was thinking along with you till this morning about the locking of the rears because I am empty, but after feeling that the fronts are doing the same except they have the load of the engine above them, I am thinking that the whole braking system is bad

That could be either the master cylinder or could be one of the brake hoses collapsed.

I just want to make this truck safe , so I can sell it. guess I will trace all the brakes lines in the morning and see if I notice anything odd...thanks for the insight, where approximately are you in Wisconsin, I am originally from Neenah,

nope, got smart, or dumb and moved to sunny southern california 30 years ago, you know I guess there was a reason why I got this truck for free.....lol
