I thought his initial post stated that he has a 2001 Ram 2500 4x4 truck - wasn't sure if its a gas or diesel truck though..

Ooops, so it is. Was thinking of another thread.

2500 has the D60, so the part I linked is NOT the right one.

They'll want three times as much for the same seal. You *should* be able to just walk into your local parts store, tell them what you drive, tell them what you want, and they take it down off the shelf and sell it to you.

If I were you, I'd just go to your local parts store and buy both seals - one each for the Dana 44 and Dana 60. That way, you can return the one that you don't need. Depending upon options, I believe the 2500 could either have a Dana 44 or Dana 60 front axle.
