Default New trans no overdrive

I just installed a remaned trans from jegs, all gears are great except overdrive, I don’t know what exactly is causing it, it’s a brand new trans, Anyone know what may cause it

Any codes after hooking up an OBD2 scanner? If not, might want to have a chat with the folks at Jeg's since the transmission should be under warranty.

yeah no codes, I’ve read it could be from a fuse

Are you saying that the ODB2 scanner won't power up due to a possible blown fuse?

no the overdrive issue could be due to a blown fuse, i don’t know if the obd has power I haven't hooked to it yet, i checked using the 3 key turns on the truck next time I work on it I’ll be hooking up the obd though

If your scanner will, see what trans temp is as well.

Default Od,cruise

Replaced brake pedal switch from oreillys, part #sls237, fixed all!, Make sure to follow install instructions exactly!
