i used a hair dryer to warm up the computer before I started the truck this morning in hopes of isolating the problem. The truck ran much better. It did sputter a very small amount on the 1st hill but it ran 100 times better than usual. I'm hoping it's not just a coincidence. I will just start and drive it tomorrow morning without heating the computer 1st and see if it is back to barely making it up the hill. If that's the case I will heat the computer again wed morning before I start it and if it works like it did this morning I think I will get a new computer and hope for the best. Does any body have experience with solopcms online? From the research I've done that site seems to have the best reputation

Well I don't think heating the computer made a difference after all. It's been close to 90 degrees here every day this week and the truck ran the same when I didn't heat the computer first. Guess I'm gonna have to wait till the weather cools off around here and try again . Also I tested the fuel pressure today and it read 48 steady while idling and under stress(in gear gassing it with my other foot on the brake) would it be worth while to change my engine coolant temp sensor and see what happens. I got 20 bux on my autozone rewards card for renting the fuel pressure tester so the sensor would be pretty much free at this point as it's only 21$

Can't hurt. Go for it.
