2001 Sport Dual Headlight Inboard Not Work
HeyYou, Thanks, I have been trying to trace the 30 pin wire run in the service manual.. I have to tell you I'm a retired aircraft mechanic and in aviation we have much better schematics to trace runs with.. this service manual has you going to your butt to get to your face to find a run, or maybe it's me.. I believe your right on with the issue of poor connection. Pin 30 wire is LG/BR from Rely to Bulb, guess I need to find where the issue is..
Appreciate the heads up on that,, the more I look at the config of wiring for the lights it's starting to sink in,lol Will be working on truck in the morning, will let you know how it went.. Appreciate your hanging with me..

Hi HeyYou,, well your advice to search out the issue of Pin 87 ground and Pin 30 proved to be where the problem was. Here was the almost fool you from the Multi-Meter, when I pricked the wires at the High Beam Light socket inboards,, both the Lg/Br #30 wire and the Pk/Rd L47power wire read 12.6 volts but NOy lighting of bulb, so I pinpricked #30 at the bulb Lg/br with jumper straight from Battery Ground terminal and Bingo Bulb lights, this was on Right Hand side, did same for Left Hand side., Bulb Lights. So then I got busy tracing the #30 LG/BR wire to the PDC, found the wire #30 was cut in the harness where harness was wedged between frame and fender.. Repaired/Spliced wire and All Good and Working..
Thanks for your support and help.. definitely a ground open, not Pin 87, it was Pin 30(Pink/ Brown Strip) wire from Relay to High beam Bulbs ..
