2500 brake mod on 1500
great mod should have done it sooner. The braided steel line replaced all the rubber lines stops like a new truck. So I had a new paint job to go with it still a work in progress

2500LD brakes on a 1500... it is a nice upgrade.

I did this on my truck, works great! get the larger caliper 8800 gvwr calipers and use good 1500 series rotors.
btw. I was also going to do this on a 4x4 van I'm working on, but wound up picking up dana 60 8 lug axles complete with brakes and so have a spare set of (used but serviceable) calipers and freshly turned 5-lug rotors if anyone nearby needs a set for the upgrade... All you should need is new pads (I'm in Greenville, NC)
