Default Transfer case swap

Ok so i have a 98 dodge 1500 with the 5.9 and auto. It had the 231HD in it and the chain is shot. So instead of rebuilding it i figured i would just swap it to a 241DHD so far so good the 241 married right up to the transmission and i have everything bolted up except for the rear drive shaft. The slip yoke seems to be to small for the shaft on the 241. Can anyone help me with this? This is our only vehicle and right now its down so im trying to get any parts ordered i might need to get it going again

Measure the output shaft on both cases. So far as I know, they *should* be the same size......
