Junk yard is going to be your best bet. Rumor has it, seat bottoms are the same for the front seats.... so, if you can find a passenger seat bottom in good condition, it will bolt to the drivers seat as well.

8.0 is a 10 cyl. Of course it is, so now I feel like an idiot. (again).

Our u pull is only bout 5 miles away. And there aint never any driver seats worth s**t down there! But sometimes there IS a decent G2 Ram pass seat though! Rarely, but sometimes.

Def never any t-cases either! And not even when I get that alert thing they send me, you know, the text/email one that there's 1 or more Gen2 or 3 Ram(s) just delivered to yard.
Even when I FLY there(yea, my Ram's got wings) within 30 mins of gettin alert the Rams t-cases are always gone already! What's that all about??

And there's always these certain "customers" there, a couple three and 4 people with couple wheel barrows with tires already in em, and they're takin even more tires off of more other rims. But they've already got tires in wheel barrows! Already. How many cars they got at home?? That need tires? All the freakin time at that?

So it's rare u can even find a tire or 2 when you need any cuz they're like, already in those same peoples wheel barrows! No matter how quick you can get there! It's like they got some form of "esp" or smthn! And all the other rims with good tires will always be already off trucks/cars and sittin next to where they're taking em apart. In a line. Like an assembly line! Or a "Dis"assembly line, I guess.
And our u pull it's big! Like huge!

Anyway, I go there lot, especially since gettin these 2 Rams last couple yrs ago. It's like Christmas!

Both gen 2 & 3's driver seats have rips/tears at left side of seats, at the "butt" part. The 3's driver side rip is like, crazy, horrendous! Worse than the G2! Why? The 3 is an 07(150k), the 2 is a 98(248k), it's like 20 yrs old & 10 yrs older, yet in MUCH better shape than the G3 seat! Why's that?
Thx.

On Gen2 seat bottoms(and maybe 3 as well), isn't there a "hump" on outside of pass seat, like on the opposite side of drivers? Does pass seats have a hump down the right edge and drivers have same hump down its left edge? Does it even matter though? Like If ur seat's edge is all ripping apart, like some raccoon got hold of it, I guess a not torn one is better than that?

If there is a hump down the edge, and is on wrong sides, think it'd affect the ride, comfort, bad enough to make it not worth it?
Nowhere sells any seat bottoms for gen2 Rams? I'm gonna learn how to get my g friend to learn... how to sew! (maybe)

If the pass to drivers works, thats a good idea! Def would like to do that, seems like the easiest solution!? And def like that "Jkeaton" idea! Buying new foam! But I don't know how to sew. Dont you have to sew material back over new foam, reinstall the bottom?

Saw some leather covers somewhere. Seemed like you take off material, put leather back on? Or just slap the leather covers over everything, the way it is?
Sort of like idea of leather in truck but in my 98 trucks case it might be like puttin lipstick on a pig, or smthn maybe close to that? Maybe like puttin some jewelry on the 'ol pig, just some ear rings or a necklace, or smthn. Not necessarily lipstick. Dont get me wrong, def like pigs! Just thinkin might be like gettin some new rims then puttin same old bad bald a** tires on em?? Too much maybe. Seems it'd make seats look too new with a 20 yr old interior, and then maybe not look right, maybe? Ughh! Freakin dilemmas?!

What ARE most people doin bout the rips/tears on all the left sides of our d seats in these 2 & 3G rams??

Looking at the bare foam, they appear exactly the same to me.....
