Default 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4wheel drive front end sqeaking when it is put in 4 wheel drive

Hi
I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4 wheel drive that the front end is squeaking while driving when you engage the 4 wheel drive. I have changed the front hubs and brakes and rotors. What could also be causing this??

thank you

U-joints in the outer axles, or front driveshaft.

Have a look at 'em. Turn the steering to one side or the other, then try and rotate the tires. See if there is any binding. Generally, if they are bad, it's pretty obvious, but, that is not always the case.

I like Spicer 5-3226X u-joint for the axle shafts. They have the needle grease fitting in the end of a cap. The ones with the fitting in the cross are terrible to get at once installed in the truck.
