Go with the Monroe 58610. Price compare Rock Auto, e-Bay, and Amazon. I had these on my 1997 and it barely dropped when I had my 18' dovetail loaded with scrap. I have similar heavy duty shocks on my 2007. Be advised the rear will bounce a lot when you're not carrying a heavy load. Also, when installing these, you may have to wedge them in place with a pry-bar even with the axle hanging by the springs (I did). I've installed a comparable set on a friend's Chevrolet and he says the truck handles great, with no ***-drooping, when hauling heavy loads.

Shock mounts were never designed to support the additional weight this guy is considering. He is also going to be exceeding his max weight by darn near a factor of 2. The truck was never designed to carry that amount of weight in the bed. It is unsafe, no matter what he does, and I simply cannot recommend it. Putting the weight on a trailer is a much better/safer plan.
