Default 98 Dodge Ram 1500 top speed problem

New there hen forum here but first I’ll let y’all know what my truck is. Its a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 space cab 5.2l.. It’s lifted 5 inches on brand new 33 inch swampers and 15x12 rims. Has cold air intake. True duals no cats with flowmasters. It’s got a superchip and bunch of other upgrades. Has a brand new stage 2 transmision as of last week with shift kit. My problem is before and after transmision. It runs like a tapped ape. Shifts good. Get some up and goes. But when it hits bout 80 in 3rd gear it won’t go no more. It can be held to the floor and rpms just stay round 3-3500 rpms and won’t climb or climb in speed. I can’t get this truck to go to 100 or over even if I held it to the floor for a mile. It won’t rev up in 3rd and go. My question is why could it be doing this ? Any help is greatly thanked

You aren't getting overdrive. Did you have overdrive disengaged? Also these trucks aren't speed demons. My truck which has major engine upgrades only hits 112

no I’m getting overdrive. If I let of the gas it’ll shift into overdrive and it goes into overdrive all the time if I drive easy. It’s a brand new transmision. On the highway it’ll creep up to 112 but then I took the speed limiter off with the chip. It seems like it just don’t want to rev up in rpms. First and second will go all the way up in rpms if I want it to 4-5 but 3rd won’t go up. It’ll slowly creep to 3-3500 and even if I’m floored not go no higher. I feel like it should go up high as I want it to till it shifts. Then it feel like over drive is just a dog to

ill try that out tommorow and let you know. Cause this truck should go way over 80 and hit 100 easy and it just seems like it won’t climb in rpms in 3rd. I’ll update tommorow but if it don’t work what you think ?

Blown plenum? Clogging cat? Low fuel pressure? Weak coil? Could be any number of things.
