Are you talking about the mark on the pick up coil or is there a mark on the distributor itself

You need to make sure #1 cylinder is at the top dead center ON THE COMPRESSION STROKE then set the dizzy like this...

Thanks for the pics and the suggestion to drill and tap the plenum for the second engine coolant sensor 2Bit. Only took a little over an hour to it. Truck is running better. Im going to take it to the dealer to have the pcm flashed and the fuel sync set correctly. I will have them diagnose it if that doesnt solve the problem. I cant thank everyone enough for all the info and advise you guys have given me.
