Correct.

You replaced the original trans for a reason, no? Why would you put parts from a blown up trans, into a good one? Nah. Replace the electronics. You get better parts, that are supposedly more reliable.

the connectors will need to be spliced and switch for 98 to 01. Is it work just swapping the whole value body?

Just swap the electronics. No need to swap the valve body, or cut/splice anything.

There is an internal plug in the trans where the solenoids, and governor stuff meets up. That connector may have changed as well. Check and see.

I think that might have done it. Only been able to drive it up to 45-50 but I can feel it shifting into OD and the OD button actual shifts it in and out and changes rpm. I will be on highway later today. Thanks so much Today is going be a good day 👍🏼🇺🇸

Okay, so took it on the highway and it still doesn’t seem to be shifting into OD however it’s not staying locked in 3rd because when I let off the throttle at 65-70-75mph the rpms drop from 2600-3000rpm down to 1100 and then I hit the throttle and it doesn’t catch at all not until rpms are are back around 2600 and it will start pulling Also now have a p1740 code and the OD button changes rpm but only by a few hundred depending if it’s in or off Stumped again Ugh

The OD unit (on the back of trans before transfer case) is know for a smap ring to break and cause no OD and eventually runr your tranny. Might want to check that.
