I don't know what the difference is, but, there evidently IS a difference...... so, stick with the stuff that is specifically for your motor. If you can't find it in the catalogue, CALL them, and talk to a live human being.
Yeah, fleet vehicles.... Was that something dodge did? Or was it an aftermarket add-on?

Sorry for the late reply trying to figure out my own electrical problems. Yes it was factory and this is a big difference as they had higher compression so you got thicker rings.
I just pulled the heads off. The cylinder with the lowest compression has a blown head gasket. Putting oil in the cylinder wouldn't raise the compression if the head gasket was the only problem would it ?
Nope. oil in the cylinder only brings up pressure if rings are the ONLY problem. If the cylinder walls look good, you might be ok. Could put a bore gauge on it, and check for taper/out of round. Can probably rent one at the local parts store.
